Puppy has Returned!

Dev found Puppy! Joann has been making up songs about his glorious return into her possession: "Puppy was gone, but he came back. He was on the side of the bookcase--the case--the shelf. I'm so glad to see him." She has definitely slept better since.

Amazing Husband

I am so grateful that Devin's dad made him rebuild an engine when he was 15! Thank you Dan! Devin replaced the brakes, the battery, and the thing that squirts washer fluid on the windshield. Hooray for mechanic skills!

Lost Dog

One little girl has lost a short-haired mutt, with shiny black eyes and nose, long ears and a short tail, and a timid look on his face. Has anyone seen this puppy? She would sleep much better if he would just come home!

Where, oh, where has my little dog gone??

Cute Fairy

I love the dress-up stage. Joann has started ticking off lists with her fingers. "Mom, I want you to get me 1) a blue tutu 2) a magic wand, 3) fairy wings and 4) sparkly tap shoes, and then I want you to turn music on so I can dance."

Devin's Birthday

A long time ago, Devin had a birthday. He made his own cake out of butter, sugar, and butter. Joann made him a wonderful poster that she could not wait (literally) to give to him, on which she drew lots of Ds for Dada in brown marker (Does Daddy like brown, Mom?).
