Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch with Melissa (visting teaching companion) and Eden (cutie with blond curls which we are jealous of). Joann got to see her favorite animals: goats, ducks, sheep, a horse and a dog. She was too timid to feed the goats, but she tried to communicate with them. She thought the pumpkins were great but underestimated her strength. Throwing straw was a highlight.

Number One

I let Joann "paint" with green yogurt.

Joann picked up a bottle of mousse and said, "More?" I put a little on her head and rubbed it in, and she said, "More?" I'm not sure why she wanted mousse, but this was the result.

Awesome Guy

Devin rides his bike to school, even when it's freezing. He saves us gas, wear on the car, parking fees, and lets me have the car at home. Plus, he gets to work out without a gym membership. He likes it because he gets to listen to books on tape while he rides, and he gets to pass long lines of cars during rush hour. I'm so grateful that he rides his bike!

Visit from Collin

Collin came to visit and this is the only picture I have of him. He came for his 5 year dental school reunion at UK and he took us out to a nice dinner. It was fun to have family around, if only for a couple days.

Ashton

Joann has a crush on Ashton, the boy down the street. Every time I put her in the stroller she says, "Aa-an?" He makes her laugh like no one else can.

We Got a Piano!

We wanted a piano so much! Devin looked at the Free section on Craigslist about 6 times a day because all these pianos were being given away. He was the 5th caller, then the 2nd caller, and then the 1st! A lady had moved out of the country and the people she left her piano with were moving, so she said to get rid of it. He enlisted the help of his dental school buddies and brought this beauty home!
