At Mom and Dad's House
Stacy, Steven, Lisa, Rachel, Cannon, Devin, and Leah met us at Mom and Dad's awesome "cabin" in Midway. Mom made a delicious dinner of roast beef and mashed potatoes, and served icecream and chocolate sauce and yummy frozen banana puree (which Joann preferred to the icecream) for dessert. We got to see Dad's "toy" and hear some of the songs that he's recorded. Joann had a blast jumping on Mom and Dad's bed, and she warmed up and gave hugs and kisses to more people than just Rachel by the end of the evening.
I know this one is fuzzy, but what a hug!

I Love Danelle
This is Danelle. She's crying over an onion at the family reunion. I just want to tell you why I love her. I love that not just looks at my measly blog posts, but she comments on every one of them. She's so fun to talk to and she has great ideas about life. She's amazing at decorating and at project management (especially managing that project called Robert). When I come to visit, she makes cinnamon rolls for me and kicks Jaydn out of his room because it's the biggest. She also calls me out of the blue to chat. I love her!

Trip to Utah for Mike's Wedding
We got to go to Utah at the beginning of November for Devin's friends' wedding. We were lukcy to be able to spend a Wednesday morning at the Davidson's house with Danielle, Luke, and last but not least Grandma Davidson. Joann is calling them "Dell" and "Newt" and "Gaga." I think she remembered their house from when we lived there (from May 07 to July 08).
She watched Danielle put stickers on Grandma and helped by pulling some off.
Danielle and Joann giving their toys diaper changes.
Matching coats! Notice Grandma and Joann have the same expression on their faces.

Hats
Joann thinks hats are the best thing ever. She points out everyone she sees who has a hat, from a guy waiting at the bus stop to the skycap at the airport. She puts various objects on her head and says, "Hat!" She especially likes "Dada hat."

Halloween
It's amazing how many costumes you can come up with from things around the house. At the ward Trunk or Treat, Joann was Godzilla and we were, well I guess we were New York. Devin has a helicopter on his chest.
On Halloween, Devin and I were invited to a costume party, but it was after Joann's bedtime, so the group costume didn't make sense (not that it did to many people anyway), so I wore a tablecloth and a table decoration (I should have gone as a table) as some sort of autumn mother nature and Devin let me put eyeshadow on his face and wore his white coat and goggles. Joann got to wear a cute tutu that Devin's mom made for her. We took her trick-or-treating because some friends in the ward invited us to. Joann was really shy at first, but when she figured out that people wanted give her stuff that she could put in a bag, she started running up driveways. Devin and I ate all her candy, since she doesn't really know what it is yet and thinks raisins are the best treat ever.
Eden Sebourne, Sydney and Holly Hastings, and Joann
We got to go to an awesome playgroup that my friends Andrea and Liz set up for the ward. Joann thought it was so fun.

Pumpkin Patch
We went to the pumpkin patch with Melissa (visting teaching companion) and Eden (cutie with blond curls which we are jealous of). Joann got to see her favorite animals: goats, ducks, sheep, a horse and a dog. She was too timid to feed the goats, but she tried to communicate with them. She thought the pumpkins were great but underestimated her strength. Throwing straw was a highlight.
