What do you do with this? We get so many papers in the mail. I'd rather get emails! But I can't throw them away because they are important and need to be dealt with, so what do I do with them in the meantime? Any ideas? They don't make a good tablecloth.

Get yourselves a nice file shelf system(about $6 at Walmart, I have a cheap one it is just a stack of paper shelves...I have 6 because there are 6 of us in our family but you might not need that many...it sits on the desk in my dining room I know you have seen it.) and a paper shredder (A bit more costly but worth it, I think they are about $100?) I burn ours but you probably can't have a burn barrel where you live so go for the shredder idea, you don't want your info getting out to people who would steal your identity. You can also ask your mail person not to put the junk mail fliers and stuff in your box that helps a ton!
I'm with Danelle... I have a nice file shelf... two actually the stack on eachother... one is the "in" and one is the "out". When I get mail I put everything in the "in" and then once a week I have a designated time to open said mail. Then throw away what I can throw away, shred what I need to shred and then pay everything that needs to be paid, then put anything into to "out" file that needs to be filed... and then I try to file everything once a month... or once every other month depending on my mood :o) Let us know what you decide to do :o) I love to hear about organization :o)
